Hello there! I'm Araceli, your go-to portrait and event photographer serving the McAllen and Mission, Texas area. I'm thrilled to share a bit about how I work, ensuring a clear understanding of my rules and the process. TURN AROUND TIME

After your session, it takes some days to receive your gallery and edited images. Here's a breakdown of my turnaround time:

  • Portraits - Maternity - Couple - Cake Smash - Headshots - Family: One business week to see your online gallery and another business week from the day you make your selections to receive your edits.
  • Newborns: Up to 3 business weeks to see your online gallery and 4 business days from the day you make your selections to receive your final edits.
  • Events: 3 weeks to receive your edited gallery, and you get to keep all images.

PORTRAITS BY ARACELI RULES & POLICIES

Before we dive in, here are some essential rules and policies:

  • No shoot is considered booked until there is a non-refundable retainer to reserve a date, ensuring commitment and avoiding any stand-ups.
  • Be punctual for your session, and please inform me if you anticipate being a few minutes late. Contact me at 956-929-0304 if needed.
  • You handle arrangements, fees, and appointments for outdoor locations.
  • Only one reschedule is allowed, and the retainer is non-refundable.
  • The total session amount is due on the day of the session or can be paid in advance.
  • Pets are welcome, but advance notice is mandatory.
  • I cannot guarantee a child's smile, so schedule sessions a time you feel they're in a good mood.
  • Parents are responsible for their children and any potential property damage.
  • Wrinkles in clothing will not be edited, so please iron your clothes for the shoot.
  • Your session includes a certain amount of images for you to edit and keep please read when you book how many are included. I do not deliver the whole gallery unless it is purchased (for a fee). You can purchase more than are included and pricing for extras is in my pricing page.
  • Extras will not be edited or delivered until they are PAID FOR.
  • I DO NO SELL UNEDITED IMAGES.
  • I retouch every image to reflect my work. You are not allowed to edit images or add filters because they would no longer reflect my work.
  • You will see every pose online in a WATERMARKED Gallery. Watermarks ensure that the images aren't screenshot.
  • Bring snacks for kids or a special toy they like or someone you feel makes them laugh. If you don’t think they will stay in a set I RECOMMEND an Outdoor shoots provide more flexibility because baby can run around rather than be restricted to a certain area.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO KNOW


  • If you're unsure about posing, don't worry—I guide you throughout the session. However, if you have specific poses in mind, let me know.
  • Feel free to bring props to personalize or add fun to your session.
  • For outdoor shoots, bring mosquito repellent.
  • I highly recommend professional hair and makeup to enhance your session's appearance.


FOR NEWBORN SESSIONS

  • Newborn sessions are best when baby is between 7-15 days old. Please let me know ASAP as soon as baby is born to schedule a date.
  • You may still do a newborn session if baby is up to one month old. However, baby will be less cooperative and will probably limit poses so I highly suggest to include the family session to your newborn session so that you have a variety of poses.
  • Babies may eat more during their session; it's entirely normal.
  • Newborn sessions are HOT to make sure that baby is comfortable.  Please plan accordingly (dress fresh like shorts, tank top, and sandals). If you are in the shoot with baby just bring extra clothes so everyone can change after.
  • Please try to not feed baby 2 hours prior to the shoot and try to keep baby awake during this time. This way they can eat upon arrival and they’ll be tired from being awake that they sleep.
  • Please bring a pacifier this will make the session easier.
  • Bring extras of wipes, diapers, outfits, and feeding items.
  • Bring a sentimental prop if you would like a more personalized session (your wedding bands, baby's blanket, or toy, etc).
  • Be prepared to be there several hours. Some sessions can last as little as two hours and as much as five hours. This all depends on baby.
  • I highly suggest you bring snacks for yourself (the parents) so that you aren't hungry during the session.
  • Not every baby will like every pose, While I try my best to get you the most possible poses babies might not like certain positions.
